Call (254) 855-9885 See our ratesMart straddles the line between McLennan County and Limestone County. That is not a technicality when someone has been arrested — it decides which jail they are taken to, and therefore which clerk the bond is filed with.
An arrest on the McLennan side is booked into the McLennan County Detention Center on East Highway 6 in Waco. An arrest on the Limestone side goes to the Limestone County jail in Groesbeck instead. Ask whoever called you which county the arrest was in. If nobody knows, give us the name and date of birth and we will check.
The Mart Police Department works out of 112 North Commerce Street, in the same building as City Hall and the Mart Municipal Court. The McLennan County Sheriff’s Office and DPS cover the surrounding roads.
The municipal court’s jurisdiction is Class C misdemeanors inside the city limits — citations, settled with that court. We do not write bonds for those. For a felony or a Class A or B misdemeanor, call us and we will file as soon as the amount is on the record.
