Rates

What a bail bond costs at Chapman’s.

Our premium is 10% of the total bail set by the court. The one exception is when the total is $1,000, which carries a 15% premium ($150). $1,000 is the smallest bond we write. With more than one charge, we add the bonds together, and anything over $1,000 total is 10%.

The jail also adds a $15 fee per bond that goes to the State of Texas, up to $30 per person. The premium is non-refundable. Payment plans are available, so call (254) 855-9885 for an exact quote.

We do not write bonds for traffic tickets or Class C misdemeanors.
