A licensed bondsman is answering

About

Thirty years on one county’s docket.

Chapman’s Bail Bonds is family owned and operated by Chase Chapman, working out of an office at 700 E Waco Dr, a few minutes from the McLennan County Detention Center. We have never been a chain and we have never worked another county’s system as our main business.

That narrowness is the point. We know which magistrate is sitting, how long the booking queue runs on a Saturday night, and what a jailer needs to see before a bond moves. When a family calls at three in the morning, the answer is rarely research — it is usually already known.

One phone, one bondsman

No call center, no dispatch queue. The number on this site rings a licensed bondsman who can write the bond.

Filed in 30–45 minutes

From signed agreement to filed paperwork. Release after that runs on the jail’s clock, and we tell you honestly what it looks like that night.

Discretion as standard

Neighbors, employers and the rest of the family hear nothing from us. Payment plans are handled the same way.

What clients say

“Terry and his team are always top notch! You really have to appreciate how nice it is that when you are released from jail that Terry is not there to condemn you. He always offers an encouraging word, advice on where to go for legal defense, and many times a soda and a cigarette to make you feel human again. Great job as always Terry!!!”

Meet Chase Chapman

Chase Chapman founded Chapman’s Bail Bonds to serve the people of McLennan County. As the founder of Chapman’s and no stranger to hard work, Chase is always sitting by the phones, ready to pick up and get you or your loved one out of jail and back home. At Chapman’s, we believe help should always be available. That’s why we believe it is imperative to remain open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

A Team of Professionals

Our entire team has been formed around family and professionals who have been in the bail bond business since 1995. We have the experience necessary to ensure that you can get back home to your family as quickly as possible. You can rest assured knowing that the individuals at Chapman’s are fighting for you. Our clients are our priority which is why we will always go the extra mile.

We are a team of professionals which is why we will never judge you or your loved one when you walk through our doors or call our phones. We understand that things happen and we just want to help you out so you can focus on what is important.

Our Mission

With decades of bail bond experience under our belts, we know what it takes to simplify the process. That is why we file the paperwork within 30–45 minutes of the agreement being signed. How long release takes after that is up to the jail, and we will tell you honestly what it looks like that night. We also understand how valuable your time is when you have to post bail which is why we never require you to come into our office. We can perform the entire bond process over the phone or online so you can spend time with your loved ones.

The bail bond process can be intimidating for someone who is unfamiliar with it. We aim to make the process as simple as possible for you so that you can worry about the more important things, such as time with your family and other arrangements. We are committed to remaining transparent so that all of your questions are answered and all of your concerns are addressed.

How Does It Work?

When your loved one is arrested, you will have to receive their booking number, bond amount, location, and charges. You will provide us with this information along with their full name, date of birth, place of residence, and other information. Once we receive this information, we will confirm the details with the jail that your loved one is currently held in. Once everyone agrees to the plan of repayment, your loved one will be bailed out.

The process can take around thirty minutes if all of the information is in order. We want to get your loved one out as fast as possible because we understand how difficult maintaining a life from inside jail can be. That is also why we never require you to show up to our office in person as we can perform the entire procedure on the phone.

The premium is a percentage of the bail the court set. A down payment starts the paperwork and the balance is scheduled around your pay periods, so the full amount is not needed before release.
